Letter to Parents from CTK's Principal

Dear Prospective Christ the King Jesuit College Prep Parent:

Thank you for your interest in Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School.  We are pleased to have been invited to bring a 450-year old tradition of Catholic Jesuit education in the form of a college prep high school to the West Side.

We are an affordable,  faith-based school offering a safe atmosphere for young men and women to grow and succeed in a culture of peace, excellence and faith.  Academically, we will focus on ensuring that your student is prepared for college and forming a graduate who is intellectually competent, open to growth, religious, loving, committed to justice, and a seasoned responsible worker. Of course, we need you, the parents and guardians, in partnership for this important mission of forming leaders of conscience and compassion for tomorrow.

Your student will also participate in our Corporate Internship Program which allows students to work in Chicago area corporate offices which in turn pay for about 70% of their tuition.  Great things begin to happen when our students go to work and discover the high value of achieving in school and the connection between that achievement and their career goals.  The relationships that our students will form with professionals in Chicago could lead to a lifetime of rewards for them.

I invite you to call or email me with any questions you have about Christ the King Jesuit College Prep.  I look forward to hearing from you—and to welcoming your student as a member of the graduating Class of 2012!

Sincerely,

Brendan J. Conroy
