Student participation in activities, sports and clubs is strongly encouraged at Christ the King. The purpose of any co-curricular activity, club or sport is to complement and enhance the educational experience of our students. Participation, however, is a privilege and not a right. All students involved in co-curricular activities will be required to meet eligibility requirements. For the good of the student’s overall academic welfare, this privilege may be revoked at any time.
Given the nature of CTK’s Corporate Work-Study Program, conflicts will arise between work schedules and practices, games and activities. Work always takes precedence over co-curricular activities. A student may not miss any work in order to participate in athletics and activities, nor should the student ask his or her work supervisor for an exception under any circumstance.
Students participating in sports must have a report of a sports physical less than 365 days old on file with the school. See attached form to be completed.

Welcome to CTK Athletics
Gladiator sports are better than ever when friends and family turn out to cheer on the teams. On these pages you will find a list of all of our athletic teams, coaches, and schedules for sports in season.
The development of excellence and honor within each of our student athletes has remained a core value of our philosophy. CTK offers 11 different sports, for both boys and girls fielding Varsity and JV level teams, including our new tackle football team. As a member of the Chicago Prep Conference, CTK competes against other Chicagoland high schools. Our teams enjoy a high level of competition and our programs benefit from local/statewide media attention.
The coaches and I hope that you will join one or more of our teams in order to make your own contribution to the continued success of Gladiator athletics.
