Gifts to Christ the King help make possible the dream of a college-prep, work-study education for students whose families could not otherwise afford tuition at a private high school. Christ the King creates a path to success for our students and hope for their future.  Five days a month our students work outside of the school at Chicago-area businesses, paying for two thirds of their tuition and receiving a real-world education in the process.  The remaining tuition cost is paid through a family contribution and the gifts we receive from those who donate to our school.  A Christ the King education helps bridge the distance between the necessity of hard work and academic achievement in high school and the promise of a better future.         We invite you to become partners with Christ the King in transforming the lives of our students and their families, the neighborhoods of Austin and the west side, and the city of Chicago.  We have a wide range of opportunities to become involved. Directing Your GIft:
Adopt-A-Student: Provide the balance of tuition remaining to be paid over and above the tuition payments made by families and income earned by Christ the King students through the Corporate Work-Study Program. Every one of our students needs between $3,000 and $5,000 to bridge the gap. Learn more.

The Building Fund:  Give toward the 100,000 square feet "beacon of hope" at 5088 West Jackson Blvd.  Christ the King will be the first new Catholic high school built on the West Side of Chicago in 85 years.  Learn more.

The Family Assistance Fund (FAF): Give toward the FAF which provides financial relief to school families facing temporary hardship.  The FAF is designed to keep students in school by relieving families of the difficult choice of addressing financial emergency versus paying tuition. Learn more.

The Annual Fund: Support our operating budget and tuition assistance programs and allow us to provide a first-rate educational program every day. 

Other Opportunites: We have many opportunites, at all monetary levels from $50 to $3,000, to provide assistance for our families, students and faculty.  These include student clothing, textbooks, laptop computers, athletics, arts and culture programs, laptop computers for students and faculty, and support of the Jesuit Alumni Volunteer Corps. Learn more.

Matching Gifts:

Many companies have programs that match the charitable contributions made by their employees.

Check with your company's Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching.

If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send with your donation. Complete this form and mail it with your donation to Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School, 5088 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL  60644

We will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds.
