Counseling
The school counseling department at Christ the King Jesuit
College Preparatory School provides all students with an environment that
supports and strengthens student success throughout his or her academics, social
and emotional development, and post-secondary choices. The counseling
department achieves these goals in the following ways:

Student Enrichment Program (STEP)
Each student is assigned a counselor at
the beginning of the school year. Counselors will meet individually with all
students at the beginning of each semester to assess the need for counseling
services. If counseling services are needed, counselors meet with the students
individually or in groups. Students who are in need of more intensive
counseling services are referred to local counseling agencies and hospitals.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to communicate with counselors whenever
necessary. Please see the information below to determine which counselor has
been assigned to your student.

released from their CWSP job, and or is placed on academic/discipline probation,
will be transferred to Ms. Merz.*
