Our First College Graduates
Six years ago, our first class of seniors, the Class of 2012, graduated from Christ the King. All of them earned acceptance into colleges across the country. Nationally, only 8% of low-income students will graduate from college in six years, and only 36% of the total U.S. population age 25-29 has completed a bachelor's degree. Yet, nearly 60% of our first class have either graduated or are continuing to make progress toward their degrees.
We are extremely proud of our alumni, those graduating this month, those who are still persisting in college, and those who have taken other paths and are already working. Our school has grown with the Class of 2012 from humble beginnings at 115 N. LeClaire to our new campus and the CTK Family has also grown to include nearly 100 Corporate Work Study Partners and countless champions and benefactors. Each year, every senior has been accepted to college and that streak continues this year as well. Thank you to all those who have helped our students along the way. Congratulations graduates!
