Christ the King is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago’s West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school. A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.

Science Teacher

CTK has an opening for a science teacher for the 24/25 school year. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 sections in the Science Department (options may include Physics and Anatomy). All CTK faculty also lead one Advisory section. Teachers are required to demonstrate strong classroom management skills in an environment of respect and rapport, and to actively collaborate with their CTK colleagues to support and strengthen the instructional program. Director of Student and Partner Success

CTK has an immediate opening for a Director of Student and Partner Success.The Director works collaboratively with the Vice President for Corporate Work Study to determine and execute the strategy to retain jobs for CTK students through the implementation of high impact, effective practices that facilitate student and partner success. Duties include supervising the CWSP Success Team, leading the student and partner success coordinators in their management of student and partner portfolios and the career readiness curriculum coordinator in the development and implementation of career readiness curriculum. Controller / Director of Accounting
CTK has an immediate opening for a Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will have responsibility for financial and operational oversight, encompassing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, receipts, internal controls, payroll, and audit functions. We are in search of a business leader with a proven track record in accounting and operations, possessing strong leadership skills, and business judgement to positively impact the financial stewardship of the school. Assistant Director of Development

CTK has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Development. Working closely with the Vice President of Advancement, the Assistant Director of Development (ADD) plans and implements fundraising, communication, and stewardship strategies for the Adopt-A-Student Program, the Peter Claver Society, and the Annual Fund Program. As an external-facing fundraiser, the ADD meets frequently with donors to cultivate, solicit and steward their support. The ADD also manages CTK's Auxiliary Board, made up of professionals whose mission is to support CTK's students and faculty. See the complete job description HERE. Athletic Trainer

CTK has an opening for a fully certified Athletic Trainer for the 24/25 school year. CTK’s Athletic Trainer will establish an effective athletic training program for high school students. Specific duties include: working in cooperation with the Strength & Conditioning coach in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes; providing first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning for Christ the King student-athletes, and providing coverage at home events and practices from the beginning of the fall sports season to the conclusion of the spring season. Van Operator

CTK is looking for van operators for the 23/24 school year to drive Corporate Work Study Program student workers to and from the school and their work placements in the Chicago-area in the morning and afternoon. The operators will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and ensuring a welcoming and orderly van environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
