Our school's 16th annual RISE UP fundraiser, hosted by our Auxiliary Board, will be held on Thursday, September 17th, 6 to 9 pm at Pilot Project Brewing at 2140 N. Milwaukee Ave. in the Logan Square neighborhood. Come to sample a variety of freshly brewed craft beers, with your choice of lagers, pales, IPAs, farmhouses, & stouts. There will also be wine and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages available. You'll also enjoy delicious sandwiches and appetizers from their scratch kitchen either inside or on their outside patio. New this year - a DJ will provide the music.

RISE UP proceeds help to support CTK's college counseling and alumni persistence programs. The Class of 2026 was CTK's 15th consecutive graduating class to achieve 100% college acceptance.

At last year's event, Tim "TC" Caldwell from CTK’s Class of 2018 and a Southern Illinois University Carbondale graduate spoke about his time at CTK. He especially valued his Corporate Work Study Program experience working at the Winston & Strawn law firm. That experience inspired Tim to pursue a law career. Currently, he is in his second year of the UIC Law program, and also mentors CTK students as a Student Support Specialist.
