CTK Welcomes Back Patrick Bittorf as New VP of Advancement

The Christ the King Jesuit College Prep community is delighted to welcome back Patrick Bittorf as Vice President of Advancement, beginning November 5th.  Pat returns to Christ the King after serving most recently as the Vice President of The Academy for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls since February 2016.

Pat has spent his career helping to provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth on Chicago’s West Side. While at Mercy Home, Pat led academic, vocational, and extracurricular functions with a team of 25 co-workers. Pat had previously held roles at Mercy Home as an After School Programs Coordinator starting in 2011, and as a Philanthropic Advisor, supporting donors as they made planned gifts in support of young people in need.

Pat began his career teaching Language Arts at St. Malachy School through the Inner-City Teaching Corps.  After his first stint at Mercy Home, Pat directed the Corporate Work Study Program at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep. Pat was credited with helping to build the current Coordinator team, as well as putting in place the Salesforce time clock system.

Pat has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Theology from Boston College and studied nonprofit management at Northwestern University. He is currently pursuing his EMBA at Loyola University, with a 2019 expected completion.

Pat has a passion for the mission of Christ the King, and is excited about reconnecting with CTK's faculty, staff, and students.
