External Scholarships
In addition to Christ the King Jesuit College Prep’s financial aid, various outside organizations offer scholarship opportunities. Each organization has specific requirements for their application process. Please note that these scholarships are not granted by CTK. You should contact the listed organizations directly for more information.
Big Shoulders Fund
Please contact the principal of your local Big Shoulders Fund school to discuss your scholarship eligibility and the application process. For more information, visit www.bigshouldersfund.org.
Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund
7th and 8th grade applicants that demonstrate academic potential, strong character, and financial need are the best candidates for a Murphy Scholarship. Applicants must live in the city of Chicago, Cicero, or Berwyn to be eligible for the scholarship. Applications from students living in other communities are not accepted. For more information, visit www.dmsf.org. Current 8th grade students (entering high school in Fall of 2025) are eligible to apply. All applications must be completed by October 1st, 2024. HFS Chicago Scholars
HFS Chicago Scholars helps economically disadvantaged Chicago high school students flourish in and out of the classroom by providing educational enrichment through lifelong mentoring, college readiness and academic excellence programs, as well as providing financial assistance to attend top Chicago-area schools. For guidelines and materials, click here. Applications for the HFS Class of 2029 are due by Friday, November 15, 2024.

HighSight
HighSight awards partial, four-year scholarships for 8th graders to attend private high schools in Chicago. The application for the Class of 2029 will open on February 15, 2025. For eligibility requirements and more information, visit www.highsight.org.
LINK Unlimited
8th grade applicants must reside in the Chicagoland area and plan to attend a LINK Unlimited Scholars partner school. CTK is one of their partner schools. Eligibility requirements and program expectations can be found at www.linkunlimited.org.
