Christ the King is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago’s West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school. A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.

Controller / Director of Accounting
CTK has an immediate opening for a Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will have responsibility for financial and operational oversight, encompassing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, receipts, internal controls, payroll, and audit functions. We are in search of a business leader with a proven track record in accounting and operations, possessing strong leadership skills, and business judgement to positively impact the financial stewardship of the school. Director of Corporate Partner Development

CTK has an immediate opening for a Director of Corporate Partner Development (Director) reporting to and working with the Vice President for Corporate Work Study on the strategy to produce and maintain jobs for CTK students. The Director identifies and cultivates prospective corporate partners who will hire teams of CTK students. The Director builds strong relationships within the Chicago business community and works with CTK's President, VP of Corporate Work Study, Board Members, Jobs Committee members, and other key CTK community constituents to develop and sign new corporate partners. Career Readiness Curriculum Coordinator

CTK’s Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) is looking for a Career Readiness Curriculum Coordinator to start no later than July 1, 2024. This role leads the development and implementation of curriculum, programs, and initiatives to improve students' performance in their CWSP jobs, as well as increase corporate partners' satisfaction with our students' work. The Coordinator's specific responsibilities will include career readiness curriculum development, serving as the lead instructor for career readiness courses, developing our summer training for new students, implementing our workplace coaching & reemployment programs, and researching and developing programs for students to earn work credentials. Assistant Director of Development

CTK has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Development. Working closely with the Vice President of Advancement, the Assistant Director of Development (ADD) plans and implements fundraising, communication, and stewardship strategies for the Adopt-A-Student Program, the Peter Claver Society, and the Annual Fund Program. As an external-facing fundraiser, the ADD meets frequently with donors to cultivate, solicit and steward their support. Religion Teacher

CTK is seeking a Religious Studies instructor for the current school year, starting in January. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in the Religion Department, as well as one Advisory section. CTK is seeking a Math instructor for the 24/25 school year. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in the Math Department (options may include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, or Pre-Calculus), as well as one Advisory section. Social Studies Teacher

CTK is seeking a Social Studies instructor for the 24/25 school year. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in the Social Studies Department (Civics), as well as one Advisory section. Varsity Softball Head Coach

CTK has an opening for a Girls Varsity Softball Head Coach starting in January 2024. This position is responsible for coaching and and providing direction to student-athletes so they can develop the skills, attitude, and disposition to become successful softball players. Inherent in the job are the skills necessary to develop disciplined athletes who demonstrate effective teamwork and good sportsmanship. Specific duties include: developing practice plans, creating practice & game schedules, maintaining team equipment, and traveling to and from games with the players. Athletic Trainer

CTK has an opening for a fully certified Athletic Trainer for the 23/24 school year. CTK’s Athletic Trainer will establish an effective athletic training program for high school students. Specific duties include: working in cooperation with the Strength & Conditioning coach in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes; providing first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning for Christ the King student-athletes, and providing coverage at home events and practices from the beginning of the fall sports season to the conclusion of the spring season. Van Operator

CTK is looking for van operators for the 23/24 school year to drive Corporate Work Study Program student workers to and from the school and their work placements in the Chicago-area in the morning and afternoon. The operators will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and ensuring a welcoming and orderly van environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
