Christ the King is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago’s West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school. A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.

Music Teacher

CTK has an immediate opening for a Music teacher for the current school year. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in their content area, as well as one Advisory section. In addition, the Music teacher will serve as the Moderator and Director of the school's band. The instructor must establish and implement a plan for classroom management, instruction, and assessment. English Teacher

CTK has an opening for a English teacher for the 2023-2024 school year starting in August. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in the English Department. All faculty also teach one Advisory Section. Director of Service & Justice

CTK has an opening for a Director of Service & Justice beginning in June 2023. This position is responsible for helping to promote the values of Christian service and justice within the CTK student body and staff. Responsibilities include soliciting and scheduling students, and staff members as chaperones, to participate in school-sponsored service opportunities. This person will also oversee student selection for and coordination of summer service trips and annual Ignatian retreat experiences. Roughly 60% of the director's time will be allotted to service and justice responsibilities, and the remaining time will be serving as a part-time teacher in the religious studies department. Director of Corporate Partner Development

CTK has an immediate opening for a Director of Corporate Partner Development (Director) reporting to and working with the Vice President for Corporate Work Study on the strategy to produce and maintain jobs for CTK students. The Director identifies and cultivates prospective corporate partners who will hire teams of CTK students. The Director builds strong relationships within the Chicago business community and works with CTK's President, VP of Corporate Work Study, Board Members, Jobs Committee members, and other key CTK community constituents to develop and sign new corporate partners. Manager of Corporate Work Study Program Operations 

CTK has an opening for a Manager of Operations for the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). The Manager is responsible for the management of the operational aspects of the CWSP, as well as CTK's shuttle fleet. The Manager coordinates the details and logistics of CWSP transportation including vehicles, route creation, scheduling, and driver supervision. Student Development Coordinator for Corporate Work Study Program 

CTK has an opening for a Student Development Coordinator for the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). The Coordinator leads the development and implementation of curriculum, programs, and initiatives to increase/improve students' performance and growth in their CWSP jobs and our Corporate Partners' satisfaction with students' work. The Coordinator is responsible for 4-year student development and work readiness, summer training for new students, coaching & reemployment, professional development for students not deployed, and programs for students to earn credentials. Assistant Director of Development

CTK has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Development. Working closely with the Vice President of Advancement, the Assistant Director of Development (ADD) plans and implements fundraising, communication, and stewardship strategies for the Adopt-A-Student Program, the Peter Claver Society, and the Annual Fund Program. As an external-facing fundraiser, the ADD meets frequently with donors to cultivate, solicit and steward their support. Director of Donor Relations

CTK has an immediate opening for a Director of Donor Relations. The Director of Donor Relations will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors with the potential to make donations at the major gift level. This individual will solicit major, planned, and annual gifts and work closely with the advancement team to expand the current donor base. See the complete job description HERE. CTK has an immediate opening for a Varsity Boys Volleyball coach for the upcoming school year. This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes to help them develop the skills, attitude, and disposition to become successful volleyball players and teammates. Specific duties include: instruction and demonstration of volleyball skill sets and techniques; submission of weekly practice plans; creation of practice and game schedules in conjunction with CTK's Athletic Director; and travel with and supervision of student-athletes on the team bus for away games. Other duties are as noted in the attached job description. The opportunity is available for a qualified individual to coach both the boys and girls volleyball teams. Athletic Trainer

CTK has an opening for a fully certified Athletic Trainer for the 23/24 school year. CTK’s Athletic Trainer will establish an effective athletic training program for high school students. Specific duties include: working in cooperation with the Strength & Conditioning coach in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes; providing first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning for Christ the King student-athletes, and providing coverage at home events and practices from the beginning of the fall sports season to the conclusion of the spring season. Van Operator

CTK is looking for van operators for the 22/23 school year to drive Corporate Work Study Program student workers to and from the school and their work placements in the Chicago-area in the morning and afternoon. The operators will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and ensuring a welcoming and orderly van environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
