Christ the King is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago’s West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school. A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.

Christ the King is seeking a Vice President of the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) starting in June. The VP of CWSP will set the Corporate Work Study Program strategy, ensuring continual evolution and optimization of the program’s retention goals, operational excellence, and brand position.  The Vice President is responsible for corporate partner relationships including job solicitation and retention goals at Christ the King. Specific responsibilities include managing the onboarding process for new job partners, stewarding existing partner relationships, and securing all CWSP annual contract renewals. CTK is seeking an English teacher for the 22/23 school year beginning in August. The CTK faculty member will teach 5 course sections in the English Department, as well as one Advisory section. The instructor must establish and implement an effective plan for classroom management, instruction, and assessment that will prepare students for college and career success. Christ the King is looking to add a school counselor for the 22/23 school year. This professional will be required to use leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic and personal/social development for all students. This position requires a Masters degree in School Counseling, School Psychology or School Social work with state certification preferred (Type 73 or Professional Educator License endorsed for School Support Personnel). CTK has an opening for a fully certified Athletic Trainer for the 22/23 school year. CTK’s Athletic Trainer will establish an effective athletic training program for high school students. Specific duties include: working in cooperation with the Strength & Conditioning coach in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes; providing first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning for Christ the King student-athletes, and providing coverage at home events and practices from the beginning of the fall sports season to the conclusion of the spring season. CTK has an immediate opening for a Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) team. In this position, the Relationship Manager will interact with students, parents, school faculty/staff, and business partners to execute the transformative CWSP model. Teaching students job skills, managing the relationships between the school and its business partners, and assisting in the coordination and operations of the overall program are the primary duties of this role. Key goals include training and developing students to excel in the workplace and providing strong customer service to CWSP business partners. CTK has an immediate opening for a Development Officer. This role is responsible for managing and growing the school’s foundation relations program and ensuring the success of CTK’s revenue-generating special events. Additional responsibilities include coordinating Board of Directors meetings and related communications in conjunction with CTK's President. CTK is looking for van operators for the 22/23 school year to drive Corporate Work Study Program student workers to and from the school and their work placements in the Chicago-area in the morning and afternoon. The operators will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and ensuring a welcoming and orderly van environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
