Christ the King is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago’s West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school. A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.

Science teaching position will be available for the 2019-2020 school year. Individual will be responsible for teaching 5 course sections in the Science Department, and conduct bi-weekly labs. Course options may include Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. All faculty also teach one Advisory Section. See complete job description attached. Math teaching position will be available for the 2019-2020 school year. Individual will be responsible for teaching 5 course sections in the Mathematics Department. English teaching position will be available for the 2019-2020 school year. Individual will be responsible for teaching 5 course sections in the English Department plus one Advisory section. Course options may include options may include Introduction to Literature, World Literature, US Literature, AP English Literature and Composition, AP English Language and Composition, African-American Literature.  AP experience a plus. Individual will be responsible for teaching 5 course sections in the Social Studies Department plus one Advisory section. Spanish teaching position will be available for the 2019-2020 school year. Individual will be responsible for teaching 5 course sections in the Foreign Language Department plus one Advisory section. The Vice President of Corporate Work Study Program is responsible for existing corporate relationships and job retention goals at Christ the King. This includes managing the onboarding process for new job partners, stewarding existing partner relationships, and securing all CWSP annual contract renewals. In addition, the Vice President is expected to set the Corporate Work Study Program strategy, ensuring continual evolution and optimization of the program’s retention goals, operational excellence, and brand position. The Director of Operations manages the day-to-day operations of the CWSP at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep. As a leader of the CWSP team, this position will interact with students, school faculty/staff, and business leaders to execute the transformative CWSP model alongside Corporate Work Study staff. By overseeing the coordination and operations of the overall program, he/she will lead the team towards the key goals of retaining our business partners in the Corporate Work Study Program, and supporting, developing, and training students to excel in the workplace. As a member of CTK's Corporate Work Study team, this position will work closely with students, school faculty/staff, and professionals at business partner companies. Primary duties will include teaching students job skills, managing the relationships with business partners, and assisting in the overall coordination and operations of the Corporate Work Study Program. This position leads job acquisition for the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) of Christ the King Jesuit College Prep and Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. This includes cultivating new job prospects, stewardship of existing corporate partner relationships, onboarding new job partners, executing related marketing tactics, and constantly developing relationships and networking to achieve job targets for both schools. Van/Shuttle driver will be responsible for transporting Christ the King students to and from their Corporate Work Study jobs in a safe and timely manner, each day. Girls Varsity Basketball Coach
This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes so that they can develop the skills, attitude, and disposition in order to become successful basketball players, effective teammates, and demonstrate good sportsmanship. The coach will develop weekly practice plans, and supervise the team during practices and scheduled games.  The opening is for the current 2019-2020 season.
