Help Provide Our Students With Work Opportunities

Help our Students Achieve their Dreams by Putting Them to Work

Christ the King Jesuit College Prep (CTK) provides a quality education and foundational work experience for young people living in Austin and the surrounding communities of Chicago's West Side. Our students' efforts have resulted in:

  • 100% college acceptance for 12 consecutive years
  • Millions of dollars in scholarships and grants awarded each year. The graduating class of 2023 earned $12.1 million in scholarships and grants towards their college education.
  • College persistence rates 3 times that of their socioeconomic peers
E. Wehmer & Christian"Wintrust is honored to be part of the Corporate Work Study Program because it provides students in need with a solid foundation of success. The program offers young people who may not have access to an abundance of resources, a place to put their knowledge and skills to good practice. On our end, it revitalizes employees to impact these talented rising stars and invests in our future workforce.  It's a program I would wholeheartedly encourage any other company to get involved with."
Ed Wehmer, CEO & Founder, Wintrust

Through our Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), students earn most of their tuition costs while gaining valuable, life-changing skills and experience by working one day a week at Chicago-area companies.
The student team adds energy, enthusiasm, and productivity to the workplace. Host companies develop the pipeline to a diverse workforce and our future leaders.

G. Fitzpatrick"In our experience over several years as a host firm of corporate work study students, we see the benefits for the kids of studying at CTK and working with us. Although the may not be able to join us at the firm this semester, the financial support we can provide to keep them in school during the pandemic is money well spent. We feel pride in our firm for recognizing the impact that this financial support can make in the lives of our CTK students."
George Fitzpatrick, Partner, Swanson, Martin & Bell

The outbreak of the pandemic forced many of our CWSP partners to reduce or shut down office operations. As a community, our students learned to pivot: to remote learning, to enhanced skills training, and to working in a remote environment within the school itself. Our Corporate Work Study Program focused on enhancing student skills and embarked on a comprehensive curriculum in Microsoft Excel leading to certification.

K Graham"U.S. Bank has proudly invested in the Corporate Work Study Program for a number of years and has also had the privilege of hosting CTK students in our offices. Not only have the students we've hosted gained valuable workplace experience and confidence, but our employees also likely gained more in return by getting to know, and hopefully inspire, some incredibly talented young people."
Kathy Graham, Senior Vice President - Investments, U.S. Bank

While some job partners are returning to the office, additional partners and jobs are needed for this Fall.

Please consider the partnership opportunities below. Thank you for considering an investment in our students’ futures.
