GET INVOLVED AT CTK

There are many ways to help make a difference for our students and their families. Volunteer, mentor, hire, or coach our students and alumni. As a young school with few alumni, your involvement makes a huge difference in our students' lives. Below are a few ways you can get involved at CTK. Thank you for helping our students to achieve their dreams!

WAYS TO HELP

#1 Hire a Team of Students 
Hire a team of students to work in entry level roles at your company. Our unique Corporate Work Study Program allows students to gain valuable experience and self-confidence by working in a corporate setting 5 days a month. Importantly, it funds the majority of their college prep education. We need one job for every 4 students enrolled at CTK. More jobs are needed for the current school year. #2 Volunteer at Career Day
Share your perspective on what it takes to succeed in the workplace or get started in your field. At a CTK Career Day, you will engage in conversations with and advise our students. #3 Join our Auxiliary Board or Event Committee
Champion and support CTK as a member of one of our boards. Our Auxiliary Board, comprised of young professionals, orchestrates and hosts our annual RISE UP fundraiser. #4 Mentor a CTK Alum
Provide advice and direction to one of our growing number of alums. Our alumni would benefit greatly from the mentorship of college educated, professional role models, whether it be over coffee, a phone call, or a meeting at your office. #5 Help our CWSP Team Provide Professional Development Training
Volunteers play a key role in developing our students professionally for the workplace. Help prepare our incoming freshmen for work during our 2-week summer business training program (weeks of 7/17 & 7/24).  Other professional development opportunities are available throughout the school year including conducting workshops, Excel training, or coaching or mentoring to our students. #6 Become a Jesuit Volunteer
Looking to serve after college? Christ the King Jesuit College Prep is accepting applications from current seniors or recent college graduates to participate in our 22-month Jesuit Volunteer Program. JVs serve in critical roles at CTK allowing for personal and professional development, while helping to mentor and guide students from Chicago’s West Side in their pursuit of a safe, faith-based, college prep education. MONTHLY GIVING
We are seeking Guardians of Gladiators monthly supporters to help underwrite CTK’s operational costs, like purchasing Chromebooks, providing instructional materials or scholarships for students, and maintaining our fleet of vehicles for the Corporate Work Study Program.Make a sustainable impact by committing to an automatic donation of at least $20.08 (our school’s founding year) per month.
